Yurt in the woods with a river running in front.

Pacific Yurts founder Alan Bair was recently featured in the July 2021 publication of Recreation Management. In the article, “Alternate Routes” by Joe Bush, yurts are highlighted as durable, year-round structures that “provide rest and relaxation”.

What is even more special about the yurts mentioned in the article is the fact that the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation uses the revenue from these yurt rentals to groom the surrounding outdoor trails. Bair goes on to spotlight the benefits and unique features and experiences that yurts can provide: “[they] offer a unique ambience that is very marketable…from ceiling fans to insulated glass windows to ductless heat pumps, our yurts can provide plenty of comfort.”
