If there’s one thing Pacific Northwesterners love, it’s getting outside and vacationing when the sun makes its initial appearance in the spring and early summer months. While Washington offers a host of great activities annually, few are better than the chance to glamp in a Pacific Yurt right alongside your furry friends! Are you looking for a pet-friendly camping destination in the Evergreen State? Here are a few of our favorite campgrounds with Pacific Yurts that welcome dogs (and other animals) in Washington.

1. Coulee Playland Yurt

The yurt itself comes with private parking, a wraparound patio, a refrigerator, microwave, lighting, and enough beds to sleep up to 4 people. At $105.50 per night in peak summer months and $75.50 a night during the fall and winter periods, this resort is an affordable way to get out of the city and into the sun for a few days with your best friend. Set on the shores of Banks Lake, Coulee Playland is a great place to fish, swim, paddleboard, or boat to your heart’s content—don’t forget your dog’s life jacket though!

At $121 per night, each dog-friendly Pacific Yurt has amenities like a picnic table, grass pad, and a fire pit to complete its more rustic “glamping” experience. While there isn’t an interior cooking area, each yurt does come with an onsite barbecue area that provides ample space and opportunity for you to grill up the catch of the day from the nearby river. Other activities at the Paradise Resort include mountain biking, swimming, or lounging in the onsite pool and hot tub, as well as (drumroll please), a dog park for your four-legged pals to play to their heart’s content!

3. Grandy Creek Campground
